Ingredients

  • 34 cup onion, diced
  • 12 cup red pepper, diced
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 14 cup basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 12 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 34 cup frozen spinach, thawed and cooked
  • 2 cups alfredo sauce (I use a jar of Classico four cheese)
  • 0.5 (375 g) package lasagna noodles, cooked (Dreamfields works well)
  • 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground chicken, cooked
  • 12 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In cooking oil, sautee onions, red peppers and garlic until soft.
  • Mix in jar of alfredo sauce and cooked meat.
  • In a bowl, mix together ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, spinach and basil.
  • Layer meat mixture, then noodles, then cheese mixture.
  • Repeat.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
