- 1 cup fresh basil
- 1 tomato vine ripe
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup white beans cannellini, drained and rinsed
- 1 pound macaroni your favorite

- Parmesan cheese
- pasta
- pesto
Method
- In a blender, pulse basil, garlic, tomato, cheese, salt, red pepper, vinegar, sugar, and olive oil until smooth and creamy.
- Prepare macaroni as directed. Place macaroni in a serving bowl.
- Add pesto and beans to the macaroni and toss. Take a little extra fresh basil, give it a fine chop and toss it in with the macaroni.
