Ingredients
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 pkg. or cakes of yeast (or 1 1/2 Tbsp. loose yeast)
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 4 1/2 c. unsifted flour
Method
- Scald milk, stir in salt, sugar and margarine. Let cool to lukewarm.
- Measure warm water into large bowl.
- Add yeast and stir until dissolved.
- Add lukewarm milk mixture.
- Stir in flour.
