Ingredients
- white potatoes (amount depending on number of servings)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (increase for larger amounts of potatoes)
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
Method
- Peel and slice potatoes (approximately 1/8-inch thick).
- Place butter in frying pan and melt over low heat (do not burn).
- Put in potatoes and chopped onion with small amount of water.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook until potatoes are tender and water has boiled away.
- (If too much water when potatoes are done, turn up heat and watch until water absorbs.)
- Do not brown.
