Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 box confectioners sugar

Method

  • Combine flour in large mixing bowl. Add sugar. Bring to boil butter, oil, cocoa and water. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Pour in 9x13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Leave in pan and ice while hot.
  • Boil together all ingredients. Pour over cake while hot. Punch holes into cake to allow frosting to go through cake.
