Ingredients
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. pitted dates
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts (optional)
- shredded coconut
Method
- Combine eggs, sugar, pitted dates and margarine in skillet over low heat.
- Stir constantly, until mixture forms thick paste. Remove from heat.
- Add vanilla, Rice Krispies and nuts.
- Roll into balls and then into coconut.
- Makes 50 to 60 pieces.
