Ingredients

  • 4 c. sugar
  • 4 c. water
  • 2 c. strong black tea
  • 6 (6 oz.) or 3 (12 oz.) frozen lemonade, undiluted
  • 2 (6 oz.) or 1 (12 oz.) frozen orange juice
  • 2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
  • 2 c. fresh strawberries and juice
  • 1 gal. water
  • 2 qt. dry ginger ale

Method

  • Make syrup by boiling 4 cups sugar and 4 cups water for 10 minutes.
  • Add tea and fruit juices and water.
  • Chill 2 to 3 hours. Right before serving, add the ginger ale and strawberries.
  • Pour over block of ice or crushed ice.
  • Serves 60 to 70.
  • This punch is always a "hit" at weddings.
  • I think it is the best.
