- 4 c. sugar
- 4 c. water
- 2 c. strong black tea
- 6 (6 oz.) or 3 (12 oz.) frozen lemonade, undiluted
- 2 (6 oz.) or 1 (12 oz.) frozen orange juice
- 2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
- 2 c. fresh strawberries and juice
- 1 gal. water
- 2 qt. dry ginger ale
Method
- Make syrup by boiling 4 cups sugar and 4 cups water for 10 minutes.
- Add tea and fruit juices and water.
- Chill 2 to 3 hours. Right before serving, add the ginger ale and strawberries.
- Pour over block of ice or crushed ice.
- Serves 60 to 70.
- This punch is always a "hit" at weddings.
- I think it is the best.
