Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce.) can refried beans
  • 4 ounce. cream cheese
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • Taco sauce (mild or possibly warm)
  • Minced lettuce
  • Finely minced tomatoes
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar preferred)
  • Minced olives
  • Tortilla chips

Method

  • Spread the beans on a large platter (about 10 x 13 inches).
  • Mix together the cream cheese, lowfat sour cream and taco mix; spread this on the beans.
  • Spread taco sauce over the top.
  • Cover with minced lettuce, then tomatoes, cheese and olives.
  • Serve with round tortilla chips.
