Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 3 1/2 oz. pkg. instant chocolate pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 c. soft-type margarine
  • 3/4 c. water
  • chocolate frosting
  • whipped topping
  • 1 c. pecans

Method

  • Combine cake mix, pudding, eggs, margarine and water.
  • Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
  • Line 2 (10 1/2 x 15-inch) cookie sheets with oiled waxed paper.
  • Divide batter evenly.
  • Bake in preheated 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • Cut each sheet lengthwise into 3 strips.
  • Assemble with your favorite chocolate frosting between strips and on top.
  • Frost sides with whipped topping and sprinkle sides with nuts.
  • Serves 18 to 20.
