Ingredients
- homemade or frozen pie crust
- 2 lb. Vidalia onions, sliced
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sour cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- dash of cayenne
- Parmesan cheese
Method
- Saute onions in butter until crisp, but not tender.
- Cream sour cream with eggs, salt, pepper and cayenne.
- Mix with onions and pour into crust.
- Top with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 450° for 20 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 325° and bake another 20 minutes, until brown.
