Ingredients
- 3 large Vidalia onions, sliced or chipped
- 8 to 10 saltines
- 3 Tbsp. canned milk
- margarine
- 1 c. grated cheese
Method
- Saute onions in margarine until soft but not brown.
- Roll out crackers and put in skillet with melted margarine.
- Layer buttered crumbs, onions and grated cheese in casserole, ending with crumbs on top.
- Sprinkle canned milk over top.
- Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
