Ingredients
- 3 to 4 heads cabbage
- 2 large onions
- 1 c. vinegar (white)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. salad oil
Method
- Shred cabbage and onions 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick. Heat vinegar, sugar, mustard and salt to boil. Add oil. Return to boil, but do not boil. Pour over cabbage/onion mix. Do not stir. Cover tightly. Let sit 1 hour. Stir and chill. Use as needed. Keeps well.
