Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. scrod
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- paprika
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. melted butter
- seasoned bread crumbs
- salt and pepper
Method
- Heat oven to 500° or 525° (yes!).
- Wash and towel dry fish. Arrange in fairly thick portions on small baking sheet.
- Drizzle with lemon juice.
- Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Combine melted butter with enough bread crumbs to make a soft mixture. Spoon/pat thickly on top of fish and press down firmly.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
