Ingredients

  • 2 medium tomatoes, seeded, drained and finely chopped
  • 1 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 envelope plain gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 pt. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Combine vegetables and drain well on paper towels.
  • Soften gelatin in cold water.
  • Add boiling water and cool.
  • Fold in mayonnaise and salt.
  • Add vegetables and pour into lightly oiled mold.
  • Chill until firm.
  • Serve with crackers.
