- chuck roast, cut up
- boxed frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 large can tomato juice
- 1/2 c. dried onions
- cubed potatoes
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- salt and pepper to taste
- powdered sage
- bay leaves (about 6)
Method
- Cook meat on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Keep adding water so you don't boil the meat dry.
- Meat should be tender.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for several hours.
