Ingredients

  • 1 can French green beans
  • 1 can small peas
  • 1 can Shoe Peg corn
  • 1 jar pimentos
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 c. celery
  • 1 c. onion
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. water

Method

  • Drain green beans, peas, corn and pimentos.
  • Dice green pepper, celery and onion.
  • Heat for dressing and cool: sugar, salt, pepper, salad oil, vinegar and water.
  • Pour dressing over combined vegetables.
  • Let set overnight.
  • Keeps several days in refrigerator and can be frozen.
