Ingredients
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can English peas
- 1 small can pimentos, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped fine
- 2 or 3 onions, sliced into rings (optional)
- 1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
Method
- Combine vinegar and sugar in small pan and bring to a boil. Cool; add salad oil and salt.
- Drain beans, peas and pimentos. Combine with pepper, onion rings and celery.
- Pour dressing over vegetables and stir well.
- Cover bowl and let marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator.
- Drain before serving.
