Ingredients

  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can English peas
  • 1 small can pimentos, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped fine
  • 2 or 3 onions, sliced into rings (optional)
  • 1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery

Method

  • Combine vinegar and sugar in small pan and bring to a boil. Cool; add salad oil and salt.
  • Drain beans, peas and pimentos. Combine with pepper, onion rings and celery.
  • Pour dressing over vegetables and stir well.
  • Cover bowl and let marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator.
  • Drain before serving.
