Ingredients
- 32 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 9 oz. chicken broth, undiluted
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- pinch of baking soda
- 2 c. cream or half and half
Method
- Mix tomatoes, chicken broth, margarine, sugar, onion and soda in saucepan.
- Simmer one hour.
- Heat cream in double boiler (or microwave) and add to hot tomato mixture.
- Soup is now ready to serve and enjoy.
