Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 5 eggs
- 3/4 c. canned milk
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 Tbsp. butternut flavoring
Method
- Cream first 4 ingredients together.
- Add eggs, beating well. Add flour alternating with milk.
- Fold in the flavoring until well blended.
- Start to bake in a cold oven.
- Set temperature at 325°. Bake for 1 3/4 hours.
- (Fills a large tube cake pan.)
