Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
  • 14 oz. pkg. caramels
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. nuts

Method

  • Mix cake as directed on package.
  • Pour one-half of batter into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
  • Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Melt caramels with milk and pour over cake.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over this, then sprinkle with nuts.
  • Pour the other half of batter over nuts.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
