Ingredients

  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
  • 1/2 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 to 1 c. pecans

Method

  • Melt the caramels with the remaining 1/2 can of Eagle Brand milk.
  • Add the pecans and spread this over the baked cake.
  • Pour remaining batter over this and bake for 20 minutes at 325°.
