Ingredients
- 1/4 c. hot water
- 1 envelope plain gelatin
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. chopped cabbage
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped cucumber
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 3/4 c. mayonnaise
Method
- Add the first 6 ingredients together in a saucepan.
- Put on stove and heat until dissolved.
- Bring to boiling point.
- Cool and add the last 6 ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Put in dish and let jell. Cut in squares.
- Serve on lettuce leaf.
- You may double this recipe.
