Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder (optional)
  • 8 Tbsp. sour cream

Method

  • In a nonstick skillet, cook turkey and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add tomatoes, macaroni, green pepper, tomato sauce, water and chili powder (if using). Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, until macaroni is tender. Top each serving with sour cream.
