Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. dried bread cubes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 to 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 stick margarine
  • turkey broth or canned chicken broth

Method

  • Combine bread cubes, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, onion and celery.
  • Melt margarine and pour over bread mixture.
  • Add eggs.
  • Moisten with turkey broth.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour into buttered baking dish.
  • Bake slow at 325° for 1 hour.
  • This is the secret of good dressing, to bake slow.
