Ingredients

  • 9 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. scalded milk
  • 1 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast (2 Tbsp.)
  • 1/2 lb. oleo

Method

  • Place the flour into the Fix-N-Mix Tupperware bowl and make a well.
  • Cool the scalded milk with the cold water.
  • Add sugar, salt, eggs and yeast to the milk and water mixture.
  • Pour liquid into the well.
  • Put on the lid and wait until the lid pops off, about 1 hour.
  • Melt the oleo and mix all together.
  • Add more flour, if necessary, and knead to proper consistency, not too stiff.
  • Put lid back on and wait until the lid pops off again. Make into bread or rolls.
  • Let rise 20 minutes and bake at 350° until golden brown.
