- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 c. chopped chicken or turkey
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 10 oz. can refrigerated biscuits
Method
- Saute onion in butter; blend in flour and stir until frothy. Add soup.
- Heat until thickened.
- Add chicken or turkey and seasonings.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Pour into a greased shallow 3-quart casserole.
- Arrange biscuits on top.
- Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are brown.
- Yields 6 servings.
