Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c. chopped chicken or turkey
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 10 oz. can refrigerated biscuits

Method

  • Saute onion in butter; blend in flour and stir until frothy. Add soup.
  • Heat until thickened.
  • Add chicken or turkey and seasonings.
  • Heat thoroughly.
  • Pour into a greased shallow 3-quart casserole.
  • Arrange biscuits on top.
  • Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are brown.
  • Yields 6 servings.
