Ingredients
- 5 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. Crisco or lard
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
Method
- Mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder; cut in Crisco or lard.
- Mix beaten egg with vinegar and add cold water to make 3/4 cup of liquid.
- Sprinkle egg mixture on flour mixture and toss with a fork.
- Use at once or store in fridge for several weeks. This may also be frozen.
