Ingredients
- 3 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 3/4 to 7/8 c. lukewarm water
Method
- Sift flour and salt together.
- Work in shortening with a fork and stir in water until dough forms a ball.
- Knead 2 minutes. Divide into 12 equal parts and cover balls with a moist cloth.
- Let stand 15 minutes.
- Roll out each ball about 7 inches.
- Heat both sides on lightly greased skillet.
