Ingredients

  • 8 beef bouillon cubes
  • 8 tostado shells
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/4 c. mild picante sauce

Method

  • Microwave bouillon cubes in 2 cups of water.
  • Bake tostado shells per instructions on box.
  • Break up into medium to large pieces.
  • Fry onions in a small amount of oil.
  • Add tomato sauce and picante sauce.
  • Add cheese soup to bouillon broth and whisk until creamy.
  • Mix all together in 6 cups of water.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer.
  • Mix tostado shells in and serve with grated cheese on top.
