Ingredients
- 8 qt. fresh tomatoes
- 1 bunch celery
- 6 large onions
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1 c. flour
Method
- Cut up tomatoes, celery and onions.
- Cook vegetables together until tender.
- Run through colander.
- Add sugar and salt.
- Heat, but not to boiling.
- Add oleo and flour; blend well and add to soup.
- Stir until all is dissolved.
- Put in jars and seal. Pressure 10 minutes at 5 pounds pressure.
- Or use water bath 15 or 20 minutes.
- Let cool and remove jars.
- Will keep well until all used up.
- Very tasty!
