Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 medium tomatoes
  • 2 to 3 green onions (stem) or 1 medium onion
  • 1 lime or lemon or 1/2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • salt

Method

  • Wash and peel tomatoes.
  • Cut into small trenches (do not drain juice).
  • Wash and cut green onions (small pieces).
  • Cut and squeeze lime (1/2 teaspoon).
  • Put tomato trenches into medium size bowl.
  • Add green onions, vegetable oil, lime juice and a pinch of salt.
  • Stir a couple of times.
  • Refrigerate 30 minutes to one hour.
