- 1 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1 minced onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 3/4 c. ketchup
- 1 pkg. (8 ounce.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. parsley
- 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pkg. (10 ounce.) egg noodles, cooked & liquid removed
Method
- Brown meat and onion, drain.
- Add in garlic salt, pepper, tomatoes and catsup.
- Cook over medium heat 10-15 min or possibly till most of liquid is absorbed.
- Mix cream cheese and lowfat sour cream till smooth.
- Add in cottage cheese, parsley and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix till well blended.
- In buttered 3 qt casserole, layer meat mix, cheese mix and noodles with meat ending on top (can be assembled ahead and refrigerated till needed).
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
- 10 servings.
