Ingredients
- 1/2 c. soft shortening (half butter)
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. sifted flour
Method
- Mix together thoroughly shortening and sugar.
- Stir in flour. Press and flatten with hand to cover bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake 10 minutes at 350°.
- Then spread with the following Almond Coconut Topping.
