Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 can low salt corn
  • 3 or 4 white potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/3 soup can water

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Brown the ground beef, drain and set aside.
  • Drain the liquid from the corn and set aside.
  • Cover the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish with a layer of sliced potatoes. Put a layer of the cooked ground beef over the potatoes.
  • Put a layer of corn over the ground beef.
  • Continue layering the potatoes, ground beef and corn until all used.
  • In a bowl, mix the soup and pour over the top of the other ingredients.
  • Cover and bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours, or until potatoes are done.
