Ingredients
- 1 pineapple supreme cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 (20 oz.) pineapple slices, drained
- red maraschino cherries
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in bottom.
- Arrange pineapple halves on top of sugar.
- Drain cherries and slice in half.
- Put cherry slices on top of each pineapple slice.
- Mix cake according to directions.
- Pour over fruit fruit and spread evenly.
- Bake for 45 to 48 minutes.
- Loosen cake from pan and turn onto platter.
