- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. coconut (optional)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream the shortening,
- sugar
- and brown sugar. Add the eggs, and stir in
- the remaining ingredients.
- Mix well. Mold with hands into balls the
- size of walnuts.
- Press flat with a fork. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
