Ingredients

  • 2 c. cooked chicken, cut in small pieces
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt, pepper and garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 lb. cooked spaghetti
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 2 c. cream (half and half)
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sherry
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Saute mushrooms in margarine with salt, pepper, garlic and lemon juice.
  • Make white sauce, using margarine, flour, cream, chicken broth, salt and sherry.
  • Add mushrooms and chicken.
  • Fold in cooked spaghetti.
  • Place in casserole.
  • Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 25 minutes.
