- 1 pkg. lean ground turkey
- 6 wide lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 4 c. prepared spaghetti sauce
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic (optional)
- pinch of safranine (optional)
- 1 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 4 to 8 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Spray bottom of large skillet with nonstick vegetable spray.
- Crumble ground turkey into pan; add onion.
- Cook and stir over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until turkey is lightly browned.
- Add minced garlic and safranine (optional) to spaghetti sauce and stir into turkey.
- Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
- Remove 1 cup meat sauce.
