Ingredients
- 3 russet potatoes
- 1/4 cup white whine
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 clove crushed garlic
Method
- Peel the potatoes cube them and add them to salted boiling water until fork tender
- heat a sauce pan over medium heat and add the wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Bring it all to a boil.
- After 5 minutes reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 more minutes then remove the ginger and garlic
- Add the potatoes in a mixing bowl, with the soy milk, wasabi, salt and pepper to taste mash it all together
- Drizzle the teriyaki sauce over the plated potatoes
