Ingredients

  • 3 russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup white whine
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 clove crushed garlic

Method

  • Peel the potatoes cube them and add them to salted boiling water until fork tender
  • heat a sauce pan over medium heat and add the wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  • Bring it all to a boil.
  • After 5 minutes reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 more minutes then remove the ginger and garlic
  • Add the potatoes in a mixing bowl, with the soy milk, wasabi, salt and pepper to taste mash it all together
  • Drizzle the teriyaki sauce over the plated potatoes
