Ingredients
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. lemon rind
- 1/2 c. sugar
Method
- Beat egg yolk, add Eagle Brand milk, lemon juice and rind and stir; set aside.
- Beat egg whites.
- Add 1/2 cup sugar and cream of tartar, beat until peaks are formed.
- Fold into other mixture. Pour into baked pie crust.
- Bake at 350° until slightly browned.
