Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 or 2 medium onions
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Arrange chicken in 9 x 13-inch pan so they don't touch.
  • Chop onions and scatter over chicken.
  • Mix together soup, milk and seasonings.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Bake at 375° for 60 minutes. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup sliced almonds over chicken for the last 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
