Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 8 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 box round toothpicks
- 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
- chopped nuts
Method
- Use pastry blender to blend ingredients.
- Blend flour and sugar.
- Cut in margarine
- and yolks.
- Roll into small balls.
- Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
- Place toothpicks in center of each ball right from oven.
- Let cool.
- Melt caramels and milk in double boiler.
- Dip balls into melted caramel 3/4 of the way.
- Then dip in nuts.
- Set on wax paper until caramel hardens.
