- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms or 1 (6 oz.) can
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1 c. sour cream
Method
- Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat.
- Add meat and brown (if you drain off fats, you may need to add a little liquid).
- Add flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms.
- Cook 5 minutes. Add soup; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream. Heat through.
- Serve over noodles or rice.
- Serves 5 to 6.
