Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 c. refried beans
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar salsa
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 12 tortilla chips, crushed
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • black olives

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Bake pie crust for 10 minutes.
  • Turn temperature down to 350°.
  • Brown the ground beef, onions and seasoning according to package.
  • In a bowl, combine refried beans and salsa.
  • Take 1/2 the refried beans mixture and put in the bottom of the pie crust; then put 1/2 the ground beef and 1/2 the cheese.
  • Then repeat with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Bake on cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Garnish with lettuce, tomato and black olives.
