Ingredients
- 2 medium to large tomatoes, finely diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 medium green pepper, diced
- 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 (8 oz.) bottle Ortega taco sauce (hot)
- 4 to 8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- In mixing bowl, place cream cheese and mix until soft with fork.
- Then fold in sour cream and mix together.
- (Mixture will be lumpy.)
- Fold onto dinner size plate or tray and spread evenly to edges.
- Then layer:
- tomatoes, onion and green pepper on top. Next pour entire bottle of taco sauce over vegetables.
- Then garnish with grated cheese.
- Serve with taco or tortilla chips.
