Ingredients

  • 2 medium to large tomatoes, finely diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium green pepper, diced
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle Ortega taco sauce (hot)
  • 4 to 8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese

Method

  • In mixing bowl, place cream cheese and mix until soft with fork.
  • Then fold in sour cream and mix together.
  • (Mixture will be lumpy.)
  • Fold onto dinner size plate or tray and spread evenly to edges.
  • Then layer:
  • tomatoes, onion and green pepper on top. Next pour entire bottle of taco sauce over vegetables.
  • Then garnish with grated cheese.
  • Serve with taco or tortilla chips.
