Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • garlic salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large can tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • grated Cheddar cheese

Method

  • In a large buttered casserole dish, place the cooked egg noodles.
  • Brown the hamburger in a skillet.
  • Saute the onion and green pepper in the hamburger.
  • Drain the fat, then add the meat on top of the noodles.
  • Use garlic salt and pepper to taste. Combine the tomatoes, soup and taco seasoning and pour on top of meat.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • Bake at 350° until brown, about 1 hour.
