Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
  • 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger or possibly 1/4 teaspoon grnd ginger
  • 4 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1 inch pcs
  • 1 pound fresh lg. shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1 med. red pepper, in thin strips
  • 3 c. warm cooked rice
  • 1/3 c. teriyaki sauce
  • 3 tbsp. orange marmalade

Method

  • Mix garlic and pepper flakes in oil in microwave in 9 inch skillet; microcook uncovered on high 1 minute.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except shrimp and rice.
  • Dipping shrimp in sauce, place in circle on top, thicker parts to outside.
  • Microcook on high 3-4 min till shrimp are cooked, rotating dish once.
  • Serve over rice.
  • Makes 4 servings.
