Ingredients

  • Swiss or round steak, cut into individual portions
  • seasoned salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can golden mushroom soup
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 pkg. carrot and peas
  • 1 can mushrooms (optional)

Method

  • Cut Swiss or round steak into individual portions.
  • Add seasoned salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Brown.
  • Remove from frying pan and place into crock-pot or casserole.
  • Add mushroom soup, tomato soup, water, carrot and peas, and mushrooms. Cook in crock-pot on high for 4 hours.
  • In casserole, bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Whatever is leftover makes a good soup base.
