Ingredients
- 10-inch unbaked pie shell
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
- 2 c. ham, cubed
- 2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. milk, scalded
- 1/4 c. onions/scallions, chopped
- 3 eggs, beaten or egg substitute
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Preheat oven to 450°.
- Slightly cook broccoli; drain well and chop into 1/2-inch pieces.
- Layer ham, cheese, broccoli and onions in pie crust, using two layers.
- Add eggs (beaten) to scalded milk; add salt and pepper.
- Mix well and pour over ingredients in pie shell.
- Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake for additional 35 minutes.
- Remove and let cool 5 minutes before serving.
