Ingredients

  • 10-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
  • 2 c. ham, cubed
  • 2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c. milk, scalded
  • 1/4 c. onions/scallions, chopped
  • 3 eggs, beaten or egg substitute
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Preheat oven to 450°.
  • Slightly cook broccoli; drain well and chop into 1/2-inch pieces.
  • Layer ham, cheese, broccoli and onions in pie crust, using two layers.
  • Add eggs (beaten) to scalded milk; add salt and pepper.
  • Mix well and pour over ingredients in pie shell.
  • Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake for additional 35 minutes.
  • Remove and let cool 5 minutes before serving.
