Ingredients
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. almonds, cashews, pecans, walnut halves or combination
Method
- In 2-quart casserole, combine sugar, water, salt, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg.
- Cook on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until sugar is melted.
- Stir in nuts.
- Cook on High 4 to 5 minutes or until syrup begins to harden.
- Immediately pour nut mixture onto buttered cookie sheet.
- Spread thinly.
- Cool.
- Break into small pieces.
